Outscore v1.0.3 released - New soundtrack, new dialogue system, new GUI...

Hello there, it's been a minute.

Development of Outscore ground to a halt last fall due to external circumstances: it's not always easy to manage the responsibilities of life with the ins and outs of indie game development and, in the end, we all have to make ends meet. But spring is the season of rebirth and, right on cue, Outscore is back on track with an updated demo/prologue.

As you can see in the GIFs accompanying this post, there have been major changes in the presentation of the game, from animated portraits delivering the lines of dialogue to completely revamped scenarios, GUI, and more. Even more significantly, Outscore now has a completely original soundtrack courtesy of the very talented Thomas George. It was a pleasure to work with him and I hope you'll enjoy the result as much as I do.

To those of you reading this who have already played, or even beaten, the game I recommend that you download it again and experience the changes for yourself: the soundtrack alone is worth the time. And if you have Outscore on your backlog of games and have been waiting for a good moment to try it, well--this is it.

Finally, I'll send you off with a promise of new content to come: a screenshot of Outscore: Chapter 1 (not the final name), to be released soon™.
